The story follows Jon Trachtman, a struggling musician who has been cutting corners on his taxes for years by filing "jointly" with his roommate, Leslie. There’s just one problem: Leslie is a man.
When a suspicious IRS agent schedules an audit, the duo must scramble to keep the ruse alive. What follows is a chaotic whirlwind of mistaken identities, frantic cover-ups, and a roommate forced into a dress—all while trying to keep their girlfriends and mothers from finding out the truth!
