Our Story
Enfield’s Valley Repertory Theater Company was formed in August of 1986 as a non-profit, non-equity group that is open to the public. Our first production was Arsenic and Old Lace, and we have presented over one hundred plays for the greater Enfield community. Our repertoire has included comedies, dramas, melodramas, dinner theater shows, theater workshops, original 15-minute play competitions, evenings of improvised comedy, and we have marched in several of Enfield’s 4th of July Parades. We have presented world premieres of full-length plays, written by local playwrights, and all told, we have entertained an estimated 10,000 theatergoers since the lights went up on our stage 40 years ago!
